Our math class has finished the 5th grade Everyday Math curriculum. We are currently working on Hands on Equations. This is a program that introduces and expands knowledge in algebra. Sixth grade math will begin after winter break.

About Me

This will be my 14th year of teaching at Ivy Hill Elementary School in Arlington Heights, IL. I taught 9 years in grades 4 and 5 and am currently the LMC Director. I went to Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois, Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois. I have a Masters in Education and have completed an English as a Second Language and Library Media endorsement. I am married, have 3 children, and live in Northbrook, Illinois.
